I joined my school newspaper at the age of 10. I loved writing stories about school events but later became obsessed with poetry. My dad was a builder. We moved from house to house as each spec home was sold.
Most of my writing arose from that experience. I seldom ever completely unpacked. The volumes of poetry and the multiple notebooks filled with children’s book ideas disappeared during one of those many moves.
Graduating with a degree in Technology and Application Programming, my experience with my builder-family led me back to Real Estate 15 years ago.
Although I have not studied or trained to be a writer, I find the shear act of getting ideas out of my head and onto any type of media to be satisfying. I have since written outlines for the future children’s books I hope to finish someday.
Previously contributing to our Bridge Living Publication, I realized how much I missed writing. Many families have asked if there was a way to highlight those connections and continue learning about our neighbors.
This Blog is designed for that purpose.
Thank you for reading my Blog.
